3rd Grade November 2016 Newsletter

Happy November, Old Town 3rd Grade Families!
Thank you for entrusting us with your sweet children.  We are very thankful for all of our kiddos and families and that we can do what we love each day.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is the beginning of a busy season!  We are learning about Non-Fiction and Expository Writing in Language Arts, Fractions in Math, Magnetism and Gravity in Science, and the 2016 Election in Social Studies.

We have our first, “Staycation Field Trip” here on campus on Thursday, November 17.  Mad Science will be coming to our school to do some interactive science experiments and exploration with us!  We are so excited for this upcoming event!  We will not be collecting any money for this trip and plan on eating outside on the picnic tables in the “woods” for lunch (weather permitting:).  More information will be coming soon!
